Saison 2010 des FIFA Interactive World Cup ist gestartet
Zusammen mit dem Weltfußballverband FIFA haben Electronic Arts und Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE) nun die neue Saison des FIFA Interactive World Cup (FIWC), dem einzigen offiziellen FIFA Fußball-Gaming-Wettbewerb der Welt, gestartet.
Der Wettbewerb erstreckt sich über die Länge einer realen Fußball-Saison. Spieler weltweit können daran teilnehmen. Gespielt wird FIFA 2010 von EA Sports auf der Playstation 3.

Left 4 Dead 2 – Das meist vorbestellte Valve-Spiel
Nach eigenen Aussagen sei der Koop-Shooter bereits öfter vorbestellt als jedes andere Spiel aus der Geschichte des Entwicklers.
Ganze 300% mehr als bei dem Vorgänger Left 4 Dead sollen das Spiel zum am schnellsten verkauften Valve-Titel machen.
25 Millionen US-Dollar kostet die weltweite Marketing-Kampagne für Left 4 Dead 2. Das sind etwa 12,5 Millionen US-Dollar mehr als beim Vorgänger, der sich immerhin 2,5 Millionen Mal verkauft hat. Die Kampagne für Left 4 Dead 2 umfasst nicht nur Plakate und Werbebanner im Internet, sondern auch Werbespots im US- und europäischen Fernsehen.
Laut Publisher Electronic Arts erscheint die Retail-Version des Shooters am 19. November 2009. Vorbesteller erhalten bereits am 27. Oktober zugang zur Demo-Version und bekommen zusätzlich einen Baseballschläger als Bonuswaffe im Spiel.

Washington brennt im neuen Modern Warfare 2 Trailer
Der Entwickler Infinity Ward zeigt mal wieder einen neuen, atemberaubenden Trailer zum neuen Ego-Shooter Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.
In diesem cineastischen Trailer wird ein neuer, bisher unbekannter Schauplatz des Titels sichtbar: Washington D.C., die Hauptstadt der Vereinigten Staaten.
In dem Video sieht man unter anderem ein zerstörtes Washington-Monument und einen Sturmangriff auf den Sitz des Präsidenten, dem weißen Haus.
Der Ego-Shooter der Call of Duty-Reihe erscheint am 10.11.2009.

Super Street Fighter 4 Trailer
In dem neuen Trailer vom Publischer Capcom für das Spiel Super Street Fighter 4 werden in über zwei Minuten die neuen Kämpfer wie Beispielsweise DeeJay oder Juri. In dem Mix von Spielszenen und Zwischensequenzen wird aber nicht bekannt gegeben, ob das Spiel nun auch für den PC erscheinen wird. Für Konsolen liegt der Verkaufsstart im Frühjahr 2010.
Neuer Patch für Majesty 2
Das Aufbau-Strategiespiel Majesty 2: The Fantasy Kingdom Sim hat vom Publisher Paradox Interactive einen neuen Patch spendiert bekommen. Durch das Update auf Version 1.0.97 wird das Spiel um ein automatisches Update-System und einen “Safer-Mode”, der die Optimierung der Grafikeinstellung vereinfachen soll, erweitert.
Desweiteren behebt der Patch kleinere Fehler und Bugs, wie bei der Balance und der Kommunikation in der Chatlobby.
